امامت

امامت مهم‌ترین اصل اعتقادی مذهب تشیع است. امامت در لغت به معنای دوستی، یاری دادن، به دست گرفتن کاری، فرماندهی داشتن و . . . است و در اصطلاح، یک منصب الهی و خدادادی است که شامل همه فضیلت‌های انسانی است.

مطابق این تعریف، امامان از سوی خداوند و به وسیله پیامبر صلی الله علیه و آله و سلم تعیین می‌شوند، دارای همان فضایل و امتیازات پیامبر (بجز مقام نبوت) هستند، و کار آنان منحصر به حکومت دینی نیست.

اما دانشمندان اهل سنت امامت را این گونه تعریف می‌کنند:

«الامامه رئاسه عامه فی امور الدین و الدنیا، خلافة عن النبی؛ (امامت یعنی ریاست و سرپرستی عمومی در امور دین و دنیا در مقام جانشینی پیامبر صلی الله علیه و آله و سلم)
مطابق این تعریف، امامت یک مسئولیت ظاهری در حد ریاست حکومت است؛ اما حکومتی که شکل دینی دارد و عنوان جانشینی پیامبر (در امر حکومت) را به خود گرفته است. طبیعتاً چنین امامی می‌تواند از سوی مردم برگزیده شود!

به عبادت دیگر علمای اهل سنت،‌ امامان را تنها به معنای جانشینان پیامبر در بر پا داشتن احکام شرع و پاسداری از حوزه دین دانسته اند.

اما شیعیان معتقدند مقام امامت در امتداد مقام نبوت است و ولایت امام همان ولایت نبوی و ولایت الهی است که ناگسستنی است. بنا به اعتقاد شیعیان، امامت فقط یک حکم شرعی فرعی نیست.

متصدیان امر امامت، دوازده نفر از نسل پیامبر اکرم هستند:

امام علی، امام حسن، امام حسین، امام علی بن الحسین، امام محمد باقر، امام جعفر صادق، امام موسی کاظم، امام علی بن موسی الرضا، امام محمد تقی، امام علی نقی، امام حسن عسگری و امام مهدی علیهم السلام.

به اعتقاد شیعیان، امامانی که جانشینان پیامبر صلی الله علیه و آله وسلم در اجرای احکام و اقامه حدود و حفظ شریعت و تربیت مردم‌اند، از گناه و خطا مبرا هستند و در تمامی فضایل و کمالات علمی، اخلاقی، اجتماعی، سیاسی و . . . سر آمد همگانند .

شناخت شناسى  امامت

امامت در لغت به معناى پیشوایى و رهبرى است و هر کسى که متصدى رهبرى گروهى شود ((امام)) نامیده مى شود خواه در راه حق باشد یا در راه باطل. چنانکه در قرآن کریم, واژه ((ائمه الکفر)) درباره سران کفار بکار رفته است, و کسى که نماز گزاران به او اقتدا مى کنند ((امام جماعت)) نامیده مى شود.

اما در اصطلاح علم کلام, امامت عبارت است از: ((ریاست همگانى و فراگیر بر جامعه اسلامى در همه امور دینى و دنیوى)). و ذکر کلمه ((دنیوى)) براى تاکید بر وسعت قلمرو امامت است, و گرنه تدبیر امور دنیوى جامعه اسلامى, جزیى از دین اسلام است .

از دیدگاه شیعه, چنین ریاستى هنگامى مشروع خواهد بود که از طرف خداى متعال باشد, و کسى که اصالهً (و نه به عنوان نیابت) داراى چنین مقامى باشد معصوم از خطا در بیان احکام و معارف اسلامى و یز مصون از گناهان خواهد بود. و در واقع, امام معصوم همه منصب هاى پیامبر اکرم (ص) بجز نبوت و رسالت را دارد و هم سخنان او در تبیین

حقایق و قوانین و معارف اسلام, حجت است و هم فرمانهاى وى در امور مختلف حکومتى, واجب الاطاعه مى باشد.

بدین ترتیب, اختلاف شیعه و سنى در موضوع امامت, در سه مساله ظاهر مى شود:نخست آنکه امام باید از طرف خداى متعال, نصب شود. دوم آنکه باید داراى علم خدادادى و مصون از خطا باشد.

سوم آنکه باید معصوم از گناه باشد.

البته معصوم بودن, مساوى با امامت نیست زیرا باعتقاد شیعه حضرت فاطمه زهرا سلام الله علیها هم معصوم بودند هر چند مقام امامت را نداشتند, چنانکه حضرت مریم سلام الله علیها نیز داراى مقام عصمت بوده اند و شاید در میان اولیا خدا کسان دیگرى نیز چنین مقامى را داشته اند هر چند ما اطلاعى از آنان نداریم و اساساً شناختن شخص معصوم جز از طریق معرفى الهى, میسر نیست.
