چکیده

این مقاله به بررسی قابلیت های مدیریت کیفیت در بهبود عملکرد مدیریت زنجیره تامین می پردازد. بر اساس ادبیات توصیفی و تئوریک، چهار زمینه مرتبط با این موضوع استخراج و مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. این چهار زمینه با بکارگیری همزمان زنجیره تامین و پیاده سازی اهداف کیفی مرتبط هستند که تحقق آن می تواند موجب توسعه ظرفیت کل شرکت، بهبود ارتباط میان روش های مدیریت کیفیت و سنجه های عملکردی زنجیره تامین، بهبود ارتباط میان مجموعه ای مشخص از روش های مدیریت کیفیت که با عنوان co-makership شناخته می شود و ارتقاء سنجه های مدیریت زنجیره تامین می گردد. جهت بررسی این موضوع فرضیه هایی ایجاد و با استفاده از اطلاعات حاصل از پایگاه داده موجود از 164 کارخانه ماشین آلات، لوازم الکترونیکی و حمل و نقل در 5 کشور آمریکا، آلمان، ایتالیا، ژاپن و انگلستان مورد آزمون قرار گرفتند. تمامی فرضیات مورد تایید قرار گرفتند و این فرضیات مبین وجود ارتباط میان مدیریت کیفیت جامع و مدیریت زنجیره تامین بودند. دستورالعمل ها و مفاهیم جهت مدیران بر بهبود این رابطه به عنوان یک سلاح، جهت رقابت در دنیای پیچیده کسب و کار امروز، تاکید دارد.
